IBSA Games Revolution: How Five Editions Have Reshaped Internal Communication and Team Building

IBSA Games continue to be one of the most anticipated events in our company’s calendar, with enthusiasm growing year after year. It’s not just a tournament, but a true networking platform that, through the metaphor of sports, promotes well-being, collaboration, and authentic relationships, transforming the competition on the field into a unique opportunity for connection.

The formula for this success is very simple: seven days of competition and sports between May and July, set against the exclusive backdrop of the La Pergola Sports Club, featuring five different disciplines: beach volleyball, table soccer, bocce, pickleball, and outdoor yoga. The results of this fifth edition speak for themselves: a record turnout, with over 180 employees from all of IBSA’s various offices and facilities taking part.

CORPORATE CULTURE TAKES THE FIELD

Through this project, the company offers its employees a concrete opportunity to take a break from their daily routine, devote time to physical activity, and take care of their health outside the workplace. In world where a sedentary lifestyle and an aging population represent a real challenge, promoting healthy lifestyles and concepts such as healthy aging becomes a social responsibility that IBSA chooses to actively embrace, starting right with its own internal community.

The closing ceremony honored the winners in various disciplines but also celebrated the value of participation. Alongside the athletic awards, two special acknowledgments were presented: Best Photo 2026, dedicated to the photograph that best captures the spirit of the games, and the Rookie of the Year, conceived to recognize employees who took part in the initiative for the first time and contributed enthusiastically to the success of this fifth edition.

Upon reaching this important milestone of five editions, the IBSA Games demonstrate that corporate culture is not built solely behind a desk, but also and above all in the field. This wide-ranging initiative continues to show that teamwork, when genuine and shared, is the most powerful driving force for creating a cohesive, active, and forward-looking work environment.
